We are at the half way stage of this yeas Sports Tour events. Sports Tours are the leading provider of youth sporting holidays and we have the pleasure of photographing many of their football and rugby tournments up and down the length of the UK. So far we have visited the Isle of Wight, Bournemouth, Camber Sands and Selsey with three more events to come in June. If you have never been on a Sports Tours holiday before then check out these images to get an idea of what a fun time is had while playing some quality football and rugby on excellent facitities. 2011 is now just a distant memory and the big tournaments of the spring and summer are just around the corner. Once again our partnership with sports tours will see us attending numerous tournaments up and down the length of the country including a return to the IOW after a two year absence. Our two largest UK tournaments are once again north of the border with the Glasgow Cups and Barrhead but boy they know how to run tournaments up there.

The point of sale unit has been hibernating but soon it will be given a spring clean and will be there for all you action shot lovers to view your images instantly, see you on the pitch !

Glasgow Cup

The Glasgow Cup celebrated its 10^th anniversary in 2011 and we were delighted to be there to capture the action. Teams from all over Europe including a large contingent from the Netherlands competed over three days of competition. Ally Mc Coist was there showing his support and probably keeping an eye out for Rangers stars of the future.

Barrhead Cup

To say that the inaugural Barrehad Cup was a success would be an understatement. The event was a weekend of perfectly ran football matches mixed with a carnival atmosphere of stalls, rides and attractions. The Barrhead crew really have raised the bar in what to expect from a football tournament and we were delighted to be part of the great occasion ….We cannot wait for next year!

Despite the untimely rain on Saturday morning the first Glasgow Easter Cup was a great success with teams from far and wide competing over the weekend. All of the images will be posted online with links from our home page soon.

The Whitsun Bank holiday is a busy time for the MyTeamPhoto crew. This weekend we were the official photographers for two Sports Tours football tournaments in the north of England (Blackpool and Silloth), we also had six photographers working in the Netherlands at the Amsterdam Cup.

Thanks to our Clients Sports Tours and Exper-sport we are lucky enough to travel throughout the UK and Europe photographing some of the best youth football tournaments. We will be returning to the Netherlands for the Haarlem Cup in August and would love to see you there.
